The character of the district
Few places in Grimmstone feel as much like home as Gaslight. Rain-darkened brick, narrow streets, old apartments, corner shops, churches, diners, schools, workshops, gas lamps and neon all crowd together beneath the city’s perpetual night.
Gaslight claims to be one of Grimmstone’s oldest districts. Several other districts make the same claim. Old maps, property records and neighborhood histories disagree often enough that locals stopped treating the argument as especially important.
